Caroline Quinn
Meet Caroline – Founder of the Holistic Collective, Restorative Practitioner, and Consultant.
Caroline brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her work in healing-centered justice. With a background in nonprofit service, she has spent several years coordinating education and reentry programs, facilitating conflict resolution services and trainings, practicing restorative justice in both community and carceral settings, and engaging in survivor advocacy and grassroots organizing.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Criminology and previously served as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice & Criminology at the University of Missouri–Kansas City, where she focused on bringing alternative justice frameworks into academic spaces. Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Family & Relationship Counseling, Caroline is passionate about bridging restorative practices with therapeutic approaches—especially in the context of intra-familial harm.
Her training includes accredited certifications in mediation, victim-offender dialogue (VOD), trauma-informed care, and victim advocacy. She actively volunteers as a VOD facilitator in Kansas, supporting survivor-centered dialogues within carceral systems. Caroline also serves as the Missouri State Representative for Survivors 4 Justice Reform, a global coalition advocating for restorative and transformative justice responses to sexual violence.
At the heart of Caroline’s work is a deep commitment to community-led healing. She approaches each client and case with empathy, curiosity, and a belief in people’s capacity for growth and repair. Grounded in her own personal journey of navigating sexual harm, she advocates for healing pathways that are as unique and complex as the people they serve.
Through the Holistic Collective, Caroline envisions a more inclusive, trauma-informed, and community-rooted response to harm—one that centers survivor agency, accountability, and collective care in the Kansas City area and beyond.
Mission
The Holistic Collective provides accessible, trauma-informed, and community-based services that support individuals and communities on their path to healing.
Vision
At the Holistic Collective, we envision a community where survivors and those impacted by harm have access to restorative practices that foster accountability, acknowledge systemic barriers, and honor each person’s humanity.
We believe that healing and justice are not one-size-fits-all — and that every individual deserves pathways that reflect their unique needs and lived experiences.
Through collaborative partnerships, we co-create personalized goals and processes rooted in trauma-informed, evidence-based, and anti-racist principles.
